The players and their characters embark on a journey of fear and discovery, with gameplay driven by a combination of deck-building, role-playing elements and action selection. When you start out, you might be using pre-constructed decks, but as you get better at the game you can go back to scenarios with your own decks custom-built to take them on. The characters will always have their unique cards and identities but beyond a handful of these limitations, the choice is yours.
Along with the cards in hand, you also have a number of actions to choose from each turn. These add character and life to the game, allowing you to play the role of your character and not be trapped by the cards you draw. But whatever you choose, remember that your unspeakable opponents will be advancing their own nefarious agendas, so you can’t take too long…
